Day the World War One veterans returned. Looking at the Auditorium from the intersection of Central Avenue and Mill Street. Lots of bunting and flags on outside of building. Several people sitting and walking in front of building. Platform in middle of intersection with an eagle on top of it. Written on front, “Richland Co. Honor Day 7-25-1919 Richland Center, Wis.” This print is a copy of P000149-09. Written on the back of this copy, “Honar Day July 25, 1919 date on picture is wrong Nearly 20,000 people in richland Ctr Day to welcome home W.W.I Soldiers Parade headed by Viroqua band, followed by 300 veterans (Civil War, Spanish-Am. War - W.W.I), Cazenovia band, 6 township floats, R. Ctr band, four fraternal org. floats, R. Ctr fire dept., two more floats. Mess tent served 1200 meals.” Building is located on the southwest corner of Central Avenue and Mill Street. Address is 182 North Central Avenue.
