Cornfalfa Farms; Alfalfa Production 120: Fox forage chopper in operation

Fox field chopper has conveyor for elevating chopped material into wagon or truck. An auxiliary engine powers the chopper. No record of this or similar unit being used on Cornfalfa Farms has been found. But it represents the next level of automation for making silage. Chopper is being pulled by Farmall F series tractor operated by one man, second man distributes chopped material to load on truck. It is not known if this equipment was owned by Cornfalfa Farms or if the picture was taken on their property.
