Alfalfa plants with bare roots are displayed showing root length over 7 feet. Man standing on high haystack of alfalfa as two other men stand on load of hay being hoisted by ropes and pulleys supported by long wood poles. Three two-horse teams are attached to buck rakes, one of which is driven by a woman. .A horse drawn buck rake is shown at the left.
