This map shows the additions made in January 1855, as well as houses, streets, Catfish Creek, and the Milwaukee and Mississippi Rail Road and Depot. It also includes manuscript annotations circa 1868 showing landownership and vacated land. Mounted at upper right is a text of city ordinances concerning the vacation of part of town. A note under the title of the map reads "Original plat embraces blocks no. 1 to 34 inclusive. Additions consist of blocks 35 to 52 incl."
