These three biennial reports total 215 pages and document the efforts of Progressive Era leaders to analyze and preserve Wisconsin's environment. Their various sections describe hunting, fishing, wildlife conservation, forest fires, state parks, forestry, and fish hatcheries. The commission budget is presented in detail, and the first of the three reports describes the effect of World War I on the commission's personnel.
