Congo, Katanga's Moise Tshombe
General Joseph-Désiré Mobutu became President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1965. He changed his name to Mobutu Sese Seko in 1972. He's shown in this image wearing military uniform sitting to the right of Prime Minister Moïse Kapenda Tshombe at microphone in center.
