This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on June 28, 1965. The photograph's caption reads: "When the temperature gets up to 90 degrees, as it did Sunday in La Crosse, kids find relief running through sprinklers. And, low-sling, fat dachshunds like this one fine relief by waddling through a cool spray. The dog, Sugar, is owned by Richard Fuhrman, 613 S. 9th Ave., Onalaska." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "June 27, 1965. Dog playing in lawn sprinkler."
