- Description
Kim made this small wall hanging in March of 2018 for a Project Quilting challenge. The quilt is called Scrapaderm. The challenge was to make a quilt using at least 12 scrap fabrics in a weeks’ time. She made this one in an afternoon. Project Quilting is a challenge that she runs on her blog, Persimon Dreams. She really likes elephants and has another quilt called Stackaderm so it seemed fitting to make an elephant out of scraps. She used heat and bond fusible to get all the different pieces of fabric on the quilt and then she made some bias tape to outline the elephant. It’s a simple quilt but she finished the challenge. The ninth season of Project Quilting just finished and almost 700 people participated in the 6 challenges so it was a successful year.
