This photograph shows a two story brick house on S 3rd St. A pair of people can be seen walking up the stairs and standing at the front door.
Dec 63 / Modest brick res shown located at 1126 S 3rd Str, between W. Washington & W. Scott strs, as location of residence of Ferdinand Stamm from about year of 1873 up to around year of 1887-88, Stamm died Sept 28, 1892, occupation as hardware dealer (Stamm Bros) conducted early hardware business on Milwaukee's south side. Home, after removal of Stamm was occupied as various other more or less prominent families. Site or lot as vacant according to Lapham's map of 1855. Photo date 12-63 D55 67
