This 1859 map of Sauk County, Wisconsin, shows the township and range grid, towns, sections, landowners and rural residences, roads, railroads, schools, churches, cemeteries, mills and other businesses, prairies, lakes, streams and wetlands, and topography. Insets of effigy mounds in the county, illustrations of local buildings and scenery, and a statistical description of the cities and villages in the county are printed in the margins.
