- Description
Heavily detailed and rare map of the United States. The map features the states, territories, cities, towns, forts, mines, mountains, swamps, lakes, and rivers. A few annotations, offering brief description of the topography, dot the map, such as one in Wisconsin reading "Large fine meadows." A continuation inset map of Florida sits in the Atlantic Ocean. Parts of the British territory of Canada and Spanish Territory of Louisiana are show, but left void of any place names outside of a few rivers and lakes.
