Originally the Colonel Hans Christian Heg family home during the Civil War 1859-1868. The home was later used by Elizabeth Muff Noll was one of Waterford's first librarian, the library was in the west side of her Main Street home. The present Waterford Library Community Room marks the site today and has been dedicated.
