A village meeting is being held with Laven villagers in probably either Thong Wai (XB 6379) or Thong Pong Ling (XB 6181) in Attapu Province. Mr. Moun (a Laven; third on the right), Naikong (tribal district chief), and IVS volunteer Gary Studebaker (1964-1965) (second on the right) stand before the group. The village dog is in the foreground.
