Beloit Students Begin Work In Northern Algiers" Valuable Skeletons Being Discovered By French Anthropologists" According to word received recently from Alonzo Pond, head of the Beloit College Logan Museum expedition in Algeria, valuable skeletons and artifacts of primitive man, who lived 20,000 years ago, are being found by others in the territory where the expedition is stationed." Advance Guard Lands The dispatch says that those who made up the advance guard of the Beloit expedition landed at Algiers on February llth, and were given every consideration by the French. Within an hour after landing they unceremoniously encountered an Arab pick-pocket whose attempts to relieve the Americans of their loose change were thwarted by an observing hotel-keeper. The good man discovered the thief with his hand in the pocket of George L. Waite, official photographer of the group hailing from Wauwatosa, Wis. The party did not wait to prefer charges, leaving that business to the hotel-keeper. Me
