- Description
Marie made this quilt, named Cows Round and Round, It Goes for her husband, Name needed, who was a dairy farmer. She made this right after he sold his herd. The quilt commemorates their first herd of cows with the names of the original herd listed on the quilt by each cow. Their children had named all of the cows. The quilt is made up of black/brown and white spotted fabric cows with names embroidered below and fences going around barns in the middle of the quilt. She submitted this quilt to Treasured Quilts of Wisconsin in 2016 and while it wasn't shown on air on PBS, she's very proud of her quilt.
