Exterior view of a two story building with bell tower on left side. Sign at the top of the building says "Welcome." In front of the building is a large fountain. The color postcard says "City Hall, Ashland, WI" on the top left.
Located on 2nd Street on the southwest corner of 2nd Ave East, this building was originally Ashland’s Central High School. The first part was built in 1881 and the second part was built in 1888. Starting in the 1907 Ashland City Directory, the City Hall was listed as being at this location until it was dismantled in 1968.
