- Description
Waukesha County Courthouse located on the southeast corner of North East Avenue and West Main Street in Waukesha. The Richardson Romanesque limestone building was built in 1893. Photograph shows cresting and finials on roof. There is a flagpole on the northwest turret. A tree obscures the steeple of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A horse and wagon can be seen driving north on North East Avenue.
Notes: The building presently houses the Waukesha County Historical Society and Museum.
