- Description
Although a majority of women did not take industrial jobs during the war, a few women did go to work in factories like Allis-Chalmers. Women had worked at Allis-Chalmers for many years prior to the war, but wartime production needs increased the number of jobs available to women. This pamphlet shows women engaged in a number of activities at the factory.
