This photograph was taken around 1885. It shows an area on W Wisconsin Ave, just west of the Milwaukee River. The Henry J Wehr Beer Hall, the Milwaukee Long Range Shooting Gallery, and Winckler's Cigars are some of the businesses in the photo. There is a sign on one of the buildings that reads "Railroad tickets bought & Sold". There is also a large billboard advertising events at the Davidson Theatre.
