Exterior view of the Union National Bank building in Ashland, WI located on the corner of Ellis Ave and Second Street West.
The bank building at 100 West Second Street was built by Frank Tomlinson Construction. The Ashland National Bank moved to 100 West Second Street and was located there from 1899 to 1932. Thomas Bardon was the bank's president. Due to the Great Depression the bank closed Jan 1933. It then reopened as the Union National Bank at the end of 1933 still located at 100 West Second Street and was listed in the City Directories from 1937-1987.
