Printed on front: No. 3 Survey of the Neenah (or Fox) River Grand Kakalau Scale 4 inches to 1 mile NOTE: Total length of approximate Location 8600 ft. Total fall 44.050 feet. Printed on back: This 1840's map of Kaukauna was done by Thomas J. Cramm for the Fox-Wisconsin Improvement Company. It shows the river as it was with the proposed route of the canal. Note the Grignon Mansion is the shaped block near the canal.
