Divided back postcard of footbridge from east looking northwest at bridge, mill pond, and west side of town. 3 houses can be seen on west side of Pine River. 2 unidentified men are on the footbridge. Written along bottom of front of picture in white, “WEST SIDE FOOTBRIDGE RICHLAND CENTER WIS. X651”. Addressed to: “Mrs. G A Janney, Richland Ctr, Wis.” Has a 2¢ stamp postmarked, “Gary, Ind., 4 Nov 1918”. Message, “at Chicago. Got here about 1:30 We came by (?) Earl Prouty and Chas M are with me.”
