- The Mission of the Matheson Memorial Library Oral History Program is to record and preserve the stories and experiences of City of Elkhorn and Walworth County men and women for the education and enlightenment of future generations. The Interviewee, Heir or Family Member, grants, assigns, and transfers, forever, to the Matheson Memorial Library, as a donation, all the rights, title, and interest that they may possess in and to the recorded conversations made by them or their family member, and any written summaries or copies thereof, and any related materials, for use by said Historical Society in any lawful way including publication, digitization for preservation and access purposes, and making materials available for research and scholarship, with the stipulation that the said recorded conversation may be used for personal, educational, and other non-commercial purposes by the said interviewers, interviewees, and family members without the prior permission of the Matheson Memorial Library.
