- Description
A group of people are gathered in a church courtyard singing freedom songs. By late August of 1966, there had been several consecutive days of protesting against the "whites only" policy of the Milwaukee Eagles Club. This photo is likely taken at Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church, where clergy members of several faiths were met with protesters on August 30th, 1966.
