This color map, originally published in the Smithsonian Institution Bureau of American Ethnology's 18th annual report, shows the Indian land cessions in Wisconsin. Indicated on the map are Indian villages and the old road from Blue Mound to Fort Winnebago at the portage of the Wisconsin and Fox rivers.
