Map of the Great Lakes region during the French and Indian War. It shows in great detail the territories, borders and boundary lines, Native American tribes and land, cities, towns, the boundary line of the Six Nations, forts, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and rivers. Typical for the time, several mythical islands appear in Lake Superior. The map features a fair bit of detail in the Wisconsin region, including the Ouisconsin River (Wisconsin River).
