Suggested Remarks for Rev. John P. Raynor, S.J. at Dedication of Hol thusen Hall April 22, 1985 As the President of Marquette Universityl I am pleased today to recognize publicly two individuals for their unselfish support of this University and the young men and women who are, and will be, our students. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holthusen--better known to us as Henry and Vi--have helped to ensure the future of this University as it maintains its steadfast march to distinction in higher education. By naming this facility Holthusen Hall, we are recognizing that this loving couple will be remembered always as members of the Marquette family. In turn, I'd like to think that Henry and Vi, in a special way, have adopted the Marquette community as part of their own family . Because they are not here to watch over their adopted family, it is our charge to ensure and perpetuate the values Henry and Vi exemplified in their lives.
