The New Sulfite Mill, Port Edwards

- Description
The Port Edwards Fiber Company built this pulp mill in 1905. The acid producing plant is on the right. The tall building is the digester room where three digesters cooked the wood. A fourth digester was added in the late 1920's. The center building is the wood room where logs were cut into chips prior to cooking in the digesters.
