A photograph postcard of the homes in the 400 block of South First Street, Evansville, Wisconsin. The home in the foreground was built for the Vivas C. Holmes family in 1910 and from the 1930s to the 1970s was the Leota School for Girls, a private girls' school. The view is from the South end of First Street looking northwest.
