- Description
A Cessna airplane at Clintonville Municipal Airport. These photos were taken in the 1940's. They were taken with a Argus camera. This was the first 35 mm camera produced at a price amateurs could afford--$25.00. There was no such thing as automatic exposure meters so they don't have the best exposures as one gets now. The only colored film available at that time for 35 mm cameras was for slides. This allowed for the first time for amateurs to make colored photos.
