Two copies of a map that show lot and block numbers, streets, a proposed canal basin, Fort Winnebago, and the Wisconsin and Fox Rivers. Relief is shown by hachures and north is oriented to the upper right. Also shown is an illustration of Fort Winnebago and an inset map of the claim owned by the Portage Canal Company with a profile of the canal. One copy includes manuscript notes on lots sold, a description of property, and a newspaper clipping from the Portage Daily Register.
