A picture of the State Bank building in construction. This bank was organized by Clark and Earl Pease. It eventually merged into the First National Bank. Was torn down when the First National Bank was built. This was located on the north side of Court Street between Central and Church streets. Richland Center, WI: The Richland Democrat, 22 May 1952: Fifty-Five Years Ago: The contract for the new State Bank building was awarded, the contract for the mason work being awarded to August Lemberg, and the woodwork contract to Carey and Hubbard, both firms of the city. Work on the basement was being rushed to completion.
