Postcard Collection, East Side. The Municipal Swimming Pool, built in 1913. Located along First Street No. You can see the Grand Rapids Brewing Co. and the steeple of the old S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in the background. The water for the pool came from the river and was delivered to the pool through a flume that ran from the Consolidated Papers dam.
