- Description
This photograph shows W State St between N 3rd and N 4th streets. Billboards adorn the roofs and sides of the buildings, including advertisements for Blatz and Schlitz beer. The brick building on the corner at left is home to several bars and restaurants: Tip Top Lunch (332 W State St), Nanking Restaurant (336 W State St), and Johnson's Tap Tavern (340 W State St). That building is no longer standing, but some of the other buildings further down State St are still there today.
