Peoples and Cultures of the World: Pathe Science Series
The Mongols of Central Asia is one of the several educational films from the Pathe Science Series. The film documents the Mongol’s training and racing of wild horse, and the various methods for transporting goods through the desert. People carry lighter goods by foot while using their yaks and camels for heavier loads. Sheep are a large part of the Mongolian life as they provide wool as well as meat. The process of making felt cloth for clothing and yurt coverings are also shown.
