View of the front façade of the two story brick Braun building which was built in 1904. On the left is The PIC, with signs for Coca-Cola and Ice Cream, at 400 West 2nd Street, Ashland, WI, and next to it is E.J. Born & Co. Jewelers. Visible on the far right is The New England Store. Two cars are visible in the foreground, parallel parked on the cobblestone main street.
The PIC was located at 400 West 2nd Street from 1956 through 1978. E.J. Born & Co. was started by 1888 and by 1909 was located at 402 West 2nd Street, where it still is in 2014. The New England Store was located at 404 West 2nd Street from 1950-1968.
