Front Picture Description: Black and white image of a large crowd of people getting their meals, waiting to get their meals or eating their meals. Description from The Richland Democrat, 29 Jun 1950 published in Richland Center, Wisconsin: “Free Lunch Quickly Eaten. With preparation made for 12,000 visitors, the dairy lunch of cheese sandwiches and milk quickly disappeared, and a hurry call for bread stocks soon exhausted every available loaf and bun in the community. It was actually necessary to send a special truck to Madison to secure more stocks before the evening meals were served. There were over 100 gallons of milk served while the free luncheon stands were open.” Back Print: County Room Brewer Library Back Writing: P000397-04, Dairy Day Accession Book Description: P397 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE – DAIRY DAY, 1950 Pictures of crowd by Park Hotel Four pioneer dairymen of the county Band and parade
