William Alderfer interviews Rose Collier on May 7, 1959. Collier talks about her experiences as an equestrian and animal trainer in various circuses in the United States from 1916 to 1926. Collier also discusses her husband's involvement in the circus, Ringling band leader Merle Evans, the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show, the Rhoda Royal Circus, the Sells-Floto Circus, daily life under the big top, and what happened behind the scenes at the circus.
