This fabric is part of a 1980s public health campaign to prevent the spread of Lassa fever, a vector born disease transmitted through rodents.
The fabric features images of rodents, a hand holding a stick, and a hand holding dead rodents by the tail. The top border displays text in Hausa. Text (Hausa): A Kashé. English translation: One should kill it.
