Horse-drawn carriages sit parked along the dirt roadside, in front of the area which is currently the AT&T Center. The five-story Hathaway Building at the corner of Mason and Broadway would be replaced by the Milwaukee Athletic Club.
N. Broadway Street. Around 1890. East side of the street looking north to E. Mason Street. The site along N. Broadway Street to E. Mason Street is now occupied by the Wisconsin Telephone Co. On the northeast corner is the Hatheway [sic] Building now occupied by the Milwaukee Athletic Club.
