- Description
Map of the north east coast of North America showing islands, regions, Native American land, bays, and a few European settlements. The Great Lakes appear in part, though Lake Superior and Lake Michigan ("Lac des Puans") are left open on their western edge. A small title cartouche sits in the bottom left corner, covering most of Florida. In the upper right, a small illustration of a Native American family appears. The woman holds a child close to her, while the man, dressed in feathers, walks towards her holding an arrow.
