Yolanda Garza is interviewed on November 7, 2013, in Madison, Wisconsin.This video interview was conducted by students who participated in a Chican@ and Latin@ Studies (CLS) course at University of Wisconsin-Madison, taught by Andrea-Teresa "Tess" Arenas, Ph.D.. Students were trained in qualitative research methodology and design, data analysis, videography, editing, archival selection, interviewing, and transcribing. Students then traveled to various parts of Wisconsin to record video interviews of Latina activists and then edited the footage to produce short (approximately hour-long) films about each Latina. Students involved in this interview include: Lisette Aguila, Michelle Gonzales, Richie Heredia, Amanda Villanueva, and Alex Wills.
