- Description
A man crosses the street; a pair of women are huddled under a shade umbrella. Horse-drawn vehicles traverse the street. Two large buildings stand on the corner, while further down the street are homes. The sheen of street car rails is visible.
N. Broadway Street. West side of the street between E. Mason and E. Wells Streets. In the 1860s. Building in center was the Police Station, County Jail and Morgue. The first Emergency Hospital was located on the 2nd floor.
