- Description
This 1852 map shows Wisconsin counties by color and includes rivers, lakes and some cities. This information is also given for eastern Minnesota and northern Illinois. The map differs from later editions by excluding a legend and the counties of Ozaukee, Monroe, Kewaunee, Shawano, Jackson, Trempealeau, Buffalo, Pierce, Dunn, Polk and Douglas. The railroad from Milwaukee only extends as far as Waukesha.
