Full standing view of Marquette sprinter Ralph Metcalfe (far left), with hurdlers Jack Keller (Ohio State) and George Saling (Iowa), and middle distance runner Glenn Cunningham (Kansas), at the 1932 NCAA championship and semi-finals for the Olympic Track and Field Trials. Each athlete had just established a new NCAA record, or tied or set a new world record. The stadium stands in the background are very full.
