Joe Gegle and Charles Scoville are interviewed by an unidentified interviewer and Gene Garrow on August 3, 1958. Gegle discusses the decline in conditions on the Wolf River, and the causes of decline in duck populations, fish spawning, and wild rice on Lake Poygan. Scoville discusses his and his brother's involvement with the conservation department, muskrat trapping, the decline in fish and waterfowl popuations on Lake Poygan, Lake Winnebago, and Lake Butte des Morts (due to low water levels, boat traffic, lack of food, etc.), and potential remedies for the decline.
