This aerial view of the Laven village of Houei Kong (XB 6473, L-56) in Attapu Province shows the schematic arrangement of the village with its landing strip in the foreground. A road runs through the center of the village and intersects near the top of the photoraph with a perpendicular road which runs east to Nong E-oi (XB 6572) and other villages. To the west, the road goes to Pakxong. At the intersection of the two roads is the village clinic (top right, with tin roofing), supported by the USAID Public Health Program.
