A depiction of horse drawn vehicles in front of the Newhall House Hotel. A large American flag flies from the rooftop's ornamental dome.
Newhall House Hotel Northwest corner of N Broadway and E Michigan Streets. Built in 1857. It was six stories high and had 300 rooms. Destroyed by fire in 1883.
