An article about the Logan African Expedition appearing on page 1 in volume 75, number 16 (November 16, 1929) of the Round Table (Beloit College newspaper).
Twelve Definitely Signed To Join Algerian Trip" Collie and Pond to Confer With Logan on Plans" GIRLS NOT ALLOWED TO JOIN EXPEDITIONS" Twelve men have definitely signed up with Dr. Collie to go to Algeria with the Logan Museum Expedition. They are Charles Nash, Ken Williams, Virgil Moen, Dan Riedel, Bob Voight, Edgar Roberts, Bob Krieger, Jim Gray, Don Belcher, Jack Frost, Bill Cureton, and Tink Mitchell. There are also two students from the University of Wisconsin and one from Northwestern, who wish to go. The two girls who wanted to go will not be granted that privilege as their presence would enhance the social problems of the expedition to such an extent as to make it impractical." Plan Food and Transportation" No definite plans have been made for the expedition. Dr. Collie and Dr. Pond are going to Chicago today to confer with Frank G. Logan about the plans for food, housing, transportation, and other problems of the expedition. The food will consist mainly of canned goods as there
