Late 1910s or early 1920s, postmarked 192?: Looking northwest along the north side of West South Street (Chestnut) from the intersection with Main Street, north of the Presbyterian Church. In the 1930s the house on the right, at 104 West South Street, became the home of Jesse R. and (Isabel) Belle M. (Eagan) Atkinson. Jess was Jennie Hepler's brother and Belle was (William) Dick and Agnes Eagan's daughter (The same Dick Eagan who was still mowing Lake Park with a push mower while in his eighties). Jesse and Belle's daughter is Lou Ellyn, P.H.S. '50, m. Morris Babcock, P.H.S. '54 The Gene Buzzell Photograph Collection: The photographs were either taken by Gene Buzzell’s father or were purchased at a sidewalk sale. The pictures were loaned to the library for digitizing and then returned to their owner.
